A meet to provide Long Course racing experienc e to inexperienced swimmers and those 'just' at regional level, the Dual Award is run as two meets in one with awards based on the entry time category. It makes an ideal meet to bring the whole club to.

How the Dual Award Meet Works
Entries to this meet are split into two categories by entry time, i.e. the upper and lower award categories. This is to allow us to run two meets at the same time and provide a method of rewarding novice swimmers.
Medals
Medals will be awarded to the swimmers by the position they finish in the category decided by their entry time. Medals are awarded for the first 3 positions in each age group in each of the upper and lower categories.
If you swim under your category time you do not qualify for a medal
Please note that there will be NO swim down facility provided at this meet.
In the event of the meet being oversubscribed entries will be accepted on first come first served basis

Entry times SHOULD BE either LONG COURSE TIMES or converted to LONG COURSE. Qualifying times are shown as ‘Not Faster Than’ times for each award category.
There is no minimum time for the lower award and swimmers with no time are accepted into that category

MEET INFORMATION PACK
Entries are open from 10am Sunday 11th January 2026. In the event of the meet being oversubscribed, entries will be accepted on a ‘first come / first served’ basis.
Officials To run a typical licensed meet requires one official to cover a session for every 20 swims. In order that this meet can happen please ensure your officials sign up for some sessions. They can do that here www.swim-meet.com/availability/
Coach Pass Application Form - This form will open when entries are confirmed you will need the names of those attending. A club office holder must confirm that you have DBS clearance for all those attending. Coach passes must be purchased by 16/02/26.

Online Entry form here - . All enties must be by Hytek file, one consolidated file per club. If only one swimmer is attending you should still submit the entry via a hytek file but only one file will be accepted per club. If you do not use a team management package please use TM Lite from Hytek to create the file.To use the online form see the instructions here, you will need the by Hytek or SD3 file and the number of entries. You must have authority to pass the entry data to us.
