Core Values
Wycombe District Swimming Club is first and foremost a swimming club, but our swimmers are also part of our community and most of them are young adults. A key aim of the club is not just to develop our swimmers as swimmers - but also to help them develop as individuals.
The club’s ‘Core Values’ are also developing, they’re not written in stone, but they represent how we feel about the club and what we think is important.
We think that our swimmers should:
- Be honest and think about what is the right thing to do.
- Be committed to being the best they can be.
- Be well behaved and represent their friends and their club.
- Value competition but not more than sportsmanship.
- Be happy and enjoy being active.
