Introduction to our Club

Wycombe has the leading Club programme in the South East Region in both pool and open water swimming. The premier club in the south of England, we are reigning County Champions, Southeast Regional Champions and achieved a 3rd place ranking at the recent National Arena League Cup Final (the highest-ranking club programme). Over the last 6 years we have had over 23 selections of swimmers selected for Great Britain at events such as European Junior Championships, European Championships, Commonwealth Youth Games, Para European and World Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Since 2012, the club has more than tripled in size resulting in around 650 active swimming members. At the start of 2016 we moved to the new build 8 x 50m pool in High Wycombe. The club continues to grow, working closely with the local community, local schools and accesses the lesson programmes of multiple local swim schools.

Wycombe Swimming is an exciting, evolving, and dynamic club that offers a wide programme using a “one team” approach. The club is a limited company and registered charity with a diverse offering in the community. We are a Swim England Performance Programme, but also have a comprehensive offering for Age Group, Academy, Participation, Masters and Disability swimming. We have an emerging weekly Water Polo session within our development section and over the last 5 years we have developed our Open Water offering, which led to Wycombe being Top Club at the National Championships for the last two years
