South East Regional Long Course Masters Championships 22/23 January 2022

Jason Ellis

The first Long Course Meet for Masters in 2022, and a chance for some post Christmas racing for our Masters. It was also a time for a few to ‘age up’ and race in a new age group.

The team was 13 strong, and there was a huge number of impressive swims, resulting in a haul of medals, club records, and 3 Championship records.

A huge shout out goes to Alice Higgins swimming in her first Regional Champs, and Ami Pantridge, Caz Jubb, Ben Williams, Greg du Tertre and Ben Allsop - everyone who swam came away with at least one medal.

A great start to the year, and a promise of more to come in the months leading up to British Championships in June, and European Championships in Rome later this year.

As always a huge thanks to our coaches, and to the club, for all the training and support we have been lucky enough to continue having despite the pandemic.
