Masters South East Region Short Course Championships

This is the first Masters meet anyone has been able to compete at since early March 2020, and sadly, the team was smaller than anticipated due to injury and illness.

However, the seven Masters who competed came away with 13 Gold, 6 Silver, 5 Bronze, 10 club records and 3 Championship records -   a fantastic result and testament to the continued support we have had from WDSC and our coaches.

Sarah Collin (18-24 age group): 4 Gold in 100 and 200 free, 100 and 200 back, 1 Silver in 50 free.

Ami Pantridge (25-29 age group): Returning from illness, a great 5th in 200 free, 7th in 50 fly, and 8th in 100 free.

Amy Barton (25-29 age group): 4th in 100 free, Silver and club record in 200 free.

Jen Holland (25-29 age group): 2 Gold and club records in 50 and 100 breaststroke, Silver and club record in 50 fly, Bronze and club record in 100 free

Becky O’Brien (30-34 age group): Returning from injury, Silver and club record in 200 free, Silver in 100 free, Bronze and club record in 400 free

Samantha Usher (44-49 age group): Gold in 200 breaststroke, Bronze and club record in 50 breaststroke, 2 further Bronze in 100 breaststroke and 400 free

Pip Williams (55-59 age group): Gold and Championship record in 50 backstroke, 4 further Golds in 50 breaststroke and free, 100 breaststroke and free, Silver in 50 fly

160+ free relay: Sarah Collin, Samantha Usher, Pip Williams, Jen Holland - Gold, club record and Championship record

72+ medley relay: Amy Barton, Jen Holland, Ami Pantridge, Sarah Collin - Gold, club record and Championship record
