Wycombe District Swimming Club runs Stroke Improver Sessions at Handy Cross Leisure Centre.

We accept children into the club Stroke Improver Classes, after they have reached level 6/7 (NPTS) following their Learn to Swim Program. In our Stroke Improver section at the club we concentrate on the three main strokes of Frontcrawl, Breaststroke and Backstroke, with the emphasis on stroke work. Classes are held on a Tuesday evening and on a Saturday morning.

These sessions focus on preparing the children for entry into the Transition I squad in the club, once their strokes have reached the required level.

This is an ideal way to introduce your child to club swimming and ensure they are at the right level prior to joining the main club squads.

Stroke Improvers Sessions run during Term Time throughout the year.

Tuesday evenings 7.00pm - 7.55 pm (9yrs - 11yrs)
Saturday mornings 8.00am - 8.55am (7yrs - 9yrs)

Tuesday 5th June - (No Swimming due to half term)

Saturday 28th April to and including Saturday 21st July 2012
(Saturday 9th June - No Swimming due to half term)
