Maxwell L2 Meet January 2010
63 swimmers aged 9-16 swam over 5 sessions last weekend at Maxwell S.C. Level 2 Meet at Aqua Vale in Aylesbury. These swimmers swam 369 events and produced 237 Personal Best Times and 65 New County Qualifying Times.
GOLD MEDALS went to 9yr AMY SOANES 200 Back also taking SILVER in 50 Free and Backstroke. 10 yr EMILY CANNON in 50 and 100 Backstroke and SILVER in 100 Free, BRONZE in 50 Fly, 50 Free 100 I.M. and 200 Backstroke. ETHAN CARTER 50 and 200 Free and 200 Backstroke. 12 yr old LIAM JONES 100 I.M. Backstroke and Fly also SILVER in 100 Free. 13 yr CONNOR LEWIS 50, 100 and 200 Butterfly, SILVER 50 Backstroke and BRONZE 100 Backstroke. 14yr JOSHUA LEWIS 50 and 100 Butterfly. TESSA HART 50 Breaststroke. 15yr MEGAN HIPKISS 50 and100 Free and SILVER 200 Free. JESS BROCK 50 Backstroke also SILVER in 100 Back Fly and I.M.and BRONZE in 200 Backstroke. JACK YATES 200 Butterfly and SILVER in 50 and 100 Fly. 16yr CAMERON ROBERTS 400 Freestyle and BRONZE 200 Free. JOE RULER 200 Backstroke and SILVER in 50 and 100 Breaststroke and Bronze 50 Backstroke.
SILVER MEDALS went to 9yr old OLIVER ROSS 200 Breaststroke. 10yr LAUREN JONES 50 Butterfly and BRONZE in 50 Backstroke. 11yr ISLA CURRIE 50 and 100 Freestyle. GEORGE LONGHURST 200 I.M. and BRONZE 100 I.M. LEWIS BALL 50 Fly and BRONZE 100 and 200 Fly. 14yr JODIE DOWNES 400 Free. FIONA SHAW 50 and 100 Butterfly, 100 Free and BRONZE 100 I.M.
BRONZE MEDALS to 9yr ABBIE MATTHEWS 50 Breaststroke and KATIE PIERCY 200 Freestyle. 11yr JASMINE BOFFIN 50 Butterfly. 12yr LUKE THOMAS 50 Butterfly. 14yr MEL DOWNES 200 Breaststroke.
This was undoubtedly one of Wycombe's best performances as a team so we can now look forward to an exciting COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS in February and March.
