WDSC is recruiting for a new Head Coach
The Club
Wycombe District Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
The Club currently has about 220 swimmers at all levels and trains in the 50m 6 lane facility at the Handy Cross Leisure Centre on Junction 4 of the M40.
We have a particularly strong Junior section, and also operate a Club squad (for less competitive swimmers) two performance squads and a masters section. A large proportion of our swimmers now achieve good county times and we have a growing number of swimmers achieving Regional times. Over the last few years some of our swimmers have achieved National times. The Club were recently promoted to swim in Premier Division of the Arena League (South) and compete successfully in a number of other local leagues.
Our current Head Coach is retiring, therefore the club are looking to build on the success Mick has brought to the club over the last few years. The committee wish to see the growth of the club in size and success so that we are able to fully utilise the facility the council are planning. We are looking for a Head Coach to lead the club forward and develop our swimmers to new levels of success.
The role represents a great opportunity to bring new ideas into a well established club, and drive growth in both terms of our current 200+ swimmers and gorwing the overall membership in the coming years.

The local authority currently have plans to replace the aging Handy Cross swimming facility with a new 8 lane 50m facility.
